Violin by

Carl G. Becker Sr.
Chicago, 1925

This rare and stunning violin was made by the legendary Carl Becker Sr. Together with his son, he is considered as the most important American maker. It was built just after he left Lyon & Healy to join William Lewis & Son, both leading firms of Chicago.

The violin is in near perfect condition and is covered with a soft golden-orange varnish. It is suitable for a discriminating collector or a serious artist.
